Job summary

RTX is seeking senior engineers for the Effector Analog & Power team in Tucson to design, analyze, and test power, analog, and motor control systems. You will contribute across concept to integration for telemetry, power regulation, and servo electronics in missions.

Expect leadership of small teams and cross-disciplinary collaboration in a high-security DoD environment. Role requires several years of hands-on power electronics experience, and a strong background in non-isolated/isolated

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an advanced STEM degree.
Design, analysis, test, and/or simulation experience with buck, boost, buck-boost topologies.
Experience with MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar tools.
Experience with analog or digital electronics design including FETs/BJTs, op-amp, filters, termination, and comparators.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry.
Lead circuit card development from requirements through initial integration testing.
Lead small teams to success with schedule, budget, and technical execution.
Define schedules for circuit level tasking and guide ECAD drafters.
Assist in layer stack up definition and layout routing guidance.
