Job summary

BGBx is seeking a Senior VP of AI Transformation to lead the AI agenda from ambition to landed outcomes. You will own the delivery of AI initiatives, partnering with the EVP, AI Transformation, and ensure alignment with strategy and enterprise goals.

In this role you will drive complex programs, shape the transformation, and lead teams across internal and external partners to deliver measurable impact in a regulated environment. Remote work is possible within the United States.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience including at least 5 years leading complex programs.
• 3+ years managing teams or cross-functional delivery groups.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading or delivering AI, data, or technology-enabled initiatives in a complex organization.
• Experience managing external vendors against defined deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical communications, or regulated industry preferred.
• Builder-operator who leads through programs and people, energized by ownership and transformation.
• Strong working fluency in AI and LLM ecosystems, agentic systems, and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of AI programs and initiatives from mandate to deployment.
• Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ship on time with adoption.
• Contribute strategic thinking to AI transformation and set direction.
• Provide leadership read on field signals and refine strategy accordingly.
• Manage delivery relationships with AI platforms and implementation partners.
• Build and lead teams and schedules to deliver AI initiatives reliably as transformation scales.
