Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Associate Director of Transformation to drive major change initiatives, enable organizational transformation, and partner with senior stakeholders to design and sustain programs accelerating business outcomes.

This hybrid role requires onsite work three days a week, focusing on AI-driven and enterprise-scale transformations across product development, manufacturing, and operating models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees highly preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD, MBA).
• 4+ years with Bachelor's, 3+ with Masters, 2+ with PhD in a competitive environment such as management consulting or pharmaceutical R&D.
• Experience with AI applications and deployment at enterprise scale.
• Experience managing large projects within a complex matrixed organization as a consultant or cross-functional lead.
• Ability to present data and metrics to executive leadership to drive business outcomes.
• Proven facilitative leadership in a matrix, global team environment; strong interpersonal skills and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams in strategic transformation initiatives (AI-driven and non-AI) across the enterprise with senior stakeholders.
• Lead modules within initiatives: research, problem-solve with stakeholders, distill insights and recommendations for data-backed solutions.
• Prepare executive-level communications and present recommendations to AbbVie leadership.
• Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and agility within AbbVie.
