Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an AWS Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) to address advanced cloud challenges and craft scalable architectures for customers. You’ll work with GTM teams to define technical components and share best practices at events and with internal communities.

The role emphasizes deep domain expertise, customer feedback influence, and collaboration across the AWS sales organization to drive adoption and growth across small to enterprise accounts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of contact center experience, or experience in technical work related to computer systems and technology components.
• Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering), or Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.
• Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.
