AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise who address complex challenges with scalable cloud-based architectures. Working within the AWS sales organization, SSAs guide customers to adopt AWS solutions and design resilient systems.

The team focuses on driving revenue and adoption across large accounts, public sector, and mid-market segments, partnering with GTM teams to craft go-to-market strategies and reference architectures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of contact center experience, or experience in technical work related to computer systems and technology components.
• Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering), or Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer and influence feature development and roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to GTM teams to unblock critical business challenges.
• Share best practices through forums and public-speaking events.
• Partner with Business Development to define technical components of GTM concepts and initiatives.
• Develop and support an internal AWS community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
