Job summary

Cohesity, Inc. is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Executive to lead a defined territory and drive net-new logo acquisition while expanding existing accounts.

This role emphasizes building compelling business cases around Cohesity’s AI-powered data security platform to deliver measurable security, resilience, and cost‑optimization outcomes. You will work with sales engineers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to close high-value contracts, manage forecasts, and travel as needed

Qualifications

• Proven track record selling to Information Security / Cybersecurity teams.
• Experience in quota-carrying, customer-facing sales roles for complex technology solutions.
• Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder buying groups and close large, strategic deals.

Responsibilities

• Own a defined territory and hit annual quota focusing on new logos and account expansion.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline from prospecting through close.
• Engage C-level and VP-level decision makers with structured, value-based sales cycles.
• Develop business cases linking Cohesity’s data security platform to outcomes like security and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with SEs, channel partners, and internal teams to execute account strategies.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and territory plans in Salesforce.
