Ode with Anthropic in San Francisco and New York is seeking a Senior Engineering Recruiter to lead critical searches for top software engineers and partner with engineering leaders. You will influence talent strategy and help scale our applied AI teams through data-driven, scalable recruiting processes.

You’ll own end-to-end hiring, mentor teammates, and raise the bar on interview quality, with a focus on velocity without compromising standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience recruiting exceptional engineering talent.
• Strong hiring judgment with evidence-based decisions.
• Technical fluency to engage with candidates and engineering leaders.
• Leadership through influence regardless of direct reports.
• Builder mindset to improve systems using AI/automation/data.
• High ownership, urgent and accountable in outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own critical engineering searches from strategy through close.
• Partner with hiring managers to calibrate interview quality and market signals.
• Raise the recruiting bar by mentoring teammates and sharing best practices.
• Build better recruiting systems through data, AI, and thoughtful process design.
• Help shape the future of recruiting at Ode by improving sourcing and enablement.
