Job summary

Additive AI in San Francisco is seeking a Sr. Recruiter to own end-to-end engineering recruiting. You will source, screen, interview, and close candidates while building scalable pipelines and partnering with hiring managers to define success.

This role emphasizes velocity, quality, and a candidate-centric process. You’ll work in a fast-paced, in-person environment, collaborating across the company to attract top engineers and scale the team.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4+ years of recruiting experience, independently owning searches from sourcing through close.
• Experience recruiting technical talent, particularly software engineers.
• Strong sourcing instincts; do not rely on inbound applicants.
• Excellent judgment and communication with candidates and hiring managers.
• Comfortable with incomplete information and evolving processes.
• High ownership; if a search isn’t working, adjust approach.
• Role requires in-person work five days a week in downtown San Francisco; relocation coverage available.

Responsibilities

• Own searches from start to finish: source, screen, interview, manage candidates, close offers.
• Build engineering pipelines from scratch, outbound and momentum-building.
• Partner with hiring managers to define what great looks like and keep searches moving.
• Close strong candidates by assessing motivations and navigating offers.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate experience with clear company storytelling.
• Help build recruiting processes, tooling, and operating rhythms as the company grows.
• Monitor pipeline, identify risks, and communicate progress and changes.
• Tell the Additive story well, highlighting the unique combination with Thomson Reuters.
