Job summary

NewsBreak, based in Mountain View, is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter, AI & Engineering to lead end-to-end hiring for engineering, AI/ML, and infrastructure roles. This is an on-site, high-impact role where you own complex searches, partner with engineering leaders, and shape the hiring roadmap in one of Silicon Valley's most competitive markets.

You will build creative sourcing strategies, calibrate interview loops, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from outreach to offer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience for software/AI roles.
• Experience recruiting for high-growth Silicon Valley tech companies or AI-first orgs.
• Ability to manage multiple senior/complex searches independently.
• Strong sourcing skills with proactive outreach to passive candidates.
• Excellent stakeholder management with engineering leaders.
• Willingness to work on-site five days per week in Mountain View.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Engineering, AI/ML, Infrastructure roles from senior IC to staff/principal.
• Partner with hiring managers to scope roles and build hiring plans.
• Manage high volume of concurrent searches while maintaining quality.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies to engage passive talent.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline across AI/ML and platform engineering.
• Stay current on compensation benchmarks and market trends to advise managers.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from outreach to close.
