Job summary

Snowflake seeks an experienced Senior Solution Engineer to partner with the sales team and channel partners, solving customer problems and closing large deals.

You will present the Snowflake platform to executives and technical audiences, run demos and PoCs, and help accelerate adoption in a fast-moving, remote role across the USA.

This role involves ~25% travel and collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s offerings.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years within a pre-sales environment.
• Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences.
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud.
• Proactive curiosity for the AI landscape and visionary technical thinking.
• Ability to leverage AI code generation tools to accelerate productivity.
• Broad experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse tech, ETL, analytics and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on SQL, SQL analytics, and Python experience.
• Ability to connect customer business problems with Snowflake solutions.
• Experience with architecture discovery and Snowflake data architecture.
• Masters in DataScience or Business Administration is a plus.
• GSI experience (EY, Deloitte, Accenture) is beneficial.
• Expect approximately 30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors.
• Demonstrate value through demos and PoCs throughout the sales cycle.
• Stay current on competitive technologies and position Snowflake accordingly.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing to improve Snowflake products.
