Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer in the United States, based in GA, TN, FL, NC, or SC. You’ll partner with sales and channel teams to navigate complex deals, delivering compelling demos and driving enterprise Proofs of Concept to closure.

You’ll operate at the intersection of business and technology, engaging with executives and technical audiences while staying hands-on with Snowflake’s data platform.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of industry experience with ≥5 years in pre-sales.
• Outstanding presenting skills to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience with large-scale Database/Data Warehouse tech, ETL, analytics and cloud tech.
• Hands-on with SQL, SQL analytics and Python.
• Ability to map customer problems to Snowflake solutions.
• Ability to perform deep discovery of customer architectures and connect to Snowflake Data Architecture.
• GSIs experience beneficial but not required.
• Expect approximately 30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation.
• Immerse yourself in the evolving industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive technologies and how to position Snowflake.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake's products and marketing.
