Job summary

Snowflake seeks a Senior Solution Engineer in the United States to partner with the sales and channel teams, solving complex customer problems and driving large deals. You will deliver compelling value through demonstrations, proofs of concept, and design initiatives.

You will engage with executives and technical audiences, stay ahead of data warehousing and cloud trends, and collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to advance Snowflake's offerings.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
• Outstanding presenting skills to technical and executive audiences.
• Broad range of experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse tech, ETL, analytics and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
• Ability to connect customer problems to Snowflake solutions.
• Ability to map customer architecture to Snowflake Data Architecture.
• University degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related; Masters preferred.
• Experience with GSIs (EY, Deloitte, Accenture) beneficial.
• Expect ~30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Work hands-on with prospects to demonstrate value from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation.
• Stay current on industry and competitive technologies and position Snowflake accordingly.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake's products and marketing.
