Job summary

Thomson Reuters Corp. is seeking a Senior Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering – Tax & Audit to lead an engineering team delivering production AI solutions for public accounting firms and corporate tax departments.

You will hire and develop senior talent, build teams per engagement, and oversee rapid prototypes to multi-month AI implementations. You will provide technical leadership on RAG, agent workflows, tool integrations and prompt engineering, while ensuring delivery quality, capacity

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering or technical consulting with 5+ years leading teams.
• Proven client-facing engineering delivery in consulting or similar settings.
• Experience shipping LLM-powered production apps and managing related costs.
• Hands-on AI engineering practices including RAG, agents and MCP.
• Daily use of AI coding tools and established team workflows around them.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a senior engineering team across client engagements.
• Plan staffing, capacity and delivery forecasts for multiple projects.
• Provide technical leadership for production AI solutions and tradeoffs.
• Set quality, risk controls, data safeguards for regulated work.
• Own delivery health, scope, risk and client satisfaction.
• Improve development with AI tooling and reusable patterns.
