Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a senior engineering leader to build and guide a world-class team delivering production AI solutions for public accounting firms and corporate tax departments. You will own staffing, delivery quality and client outcomes, from rapid prototyping to multi-month implementations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering or technical consulting
• 5+ years managing engineering teams
• Ownership of client-facing engineering delivery in a consulting or professional services setting
• Experience leading teams that shipped LLM-powered production applications
• Hands-on experience with modern AI engineering practices (RAG, agentic workflows, observability)
• Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
• Ability to address AI risks in regulated environments
• Demonstrated technical decision-making and people development

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and develop a senior engineering team including engagement leads and AI engineers
• Own staffing, capacity planning and delivery forecasting across client engagements
• Provide technical leadership for production AI solutions including RAG, agents, tool integrations
• Set standards for AI quality, evaluation and risk controls
• Own delivery health and client outcomes across engagements
• Improve engineering effectiveness with AI-enabled development and automated testing
• Partner with business, product, consulting and platform leaders to align demand with capacity and forecast accuracy
