Thomson Reuters seeks a senior engineering leader in New York to drive production AI solutions for public accounting firms and corporate tax departments. You will hire and develop senior technical talent, build the right team for each client engagement, and oversee delivery from rapid prototypes to complex, multi-month AI implementations.

This role blends engineering leadership, client delivery ownership and deep technical judgment in production AI, with responsibility for team capacity,

Formación

• 10+ years in software engineering or technical consulting, incl. 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Ownership of client-facing engineering delivery, incl. staffing and capacity forecasting.
• Experience leading teams that shipped LLM-powered production applications.
• Hands-on with modern AI engineering practices (RAG, agents, MCP, evaluation & observability).
• Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).
• Ability to address AI risks in regulated environments (hallucinations, data leakage, audit trails).
• Proven technical decision-making, people development, delivery prioritization and stakeholder communication.

Responsabilidades

• Build, lead and develop a senior engineering team.
• Own staffing, capacity planning and delivery forecasting.
• Provide technical leadership for production AI solutions.
• Set standards for AI quality, evaluation and risk controls.
• Own delivery health and client outcomes across engagements.
• Improve engineering effectiveness through AI-enabled development.
