Elsevier is seeking a Technical Consultant (Pre-Sales) to drive revenue by partnering with Sales and shaping data-driven use cases. You will lead discovery, demonstrations, and PoCs, translating scientific data capabilities into compelling, outcome-driven solutions.

The role emphasizes pre-sales activities with collaboration across post-sales and professional services, requiring strong communication and stakeholder management, and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of data-driven analytics workflows.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG and AI governance.
• Experience with cloud ecosystems (AWS, REST APIs, Docker, Python).
• Degree in science, technology or data field or equivalent.
• Experience in data-intensive enterprise environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead pre-sales discovery to understand customer objectives and data landscapes.
• Design and deliver tailored demonstrations and PoCs.
• Prepare solution proposals and articulate trade-offs across data, software and services.
• Act as trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
