Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Customer Engineer to drive the technical relationship from discovery through long-term adoption and expansion. You will partner with Account Executives to design architectures, onboard customers, and monitor technical health while pursuing revenue growth across the customer journey.

You will operate as a quota-carrying technologist, using AI-augmented workflows to reduce administrative toil and deliver measurable outcomes for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
• Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and modern developer platforms.
• Proven track record in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environments with SaaS metrics understanding.
• Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management, bridging technical details to C-suite strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with Account Executives and build bespoke architectures.
• Own onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion strategy with customers.
• Lead QBRs translating platform capabilities into ROI for executives.
• Maintain deep relationships with stakeholders from onboarding to renewal and expansion.
• Leverage AI-augmented workflows to automate routine tasks and focus on advisory.
