Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking an experienced Agile Coach to support a large federal agency in Detroit. You will guide Agile transformation across teams, facilitate workshops, and train stakeholders on SAFe, Scrum, and DevSecOps practices.

You will mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders, helping establish backlogs, reporting, and delivery excellence in a fast-paced government environment. Strong coaching and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Agile coaching experience across multiple teams and programs.
• Strong SAFe knowledge with ability to implement Lean and Agile practices.
• Experience guiding executives, product owners, and Scrum Masters.
• Familiar with DevSecOps principles and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Agile transformation for teams and programs to enable large IT initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops to teach Agile/Lean principles, roles, and ceremonies.
• Lead Agile training for government stakeholders and contractors.
• Coach teams through sprint planning and ongoing iterations.
• Mentor Scrum Masters and Product Owners to improve practices.
• Set up boards, workflows, and automated reporting; help define backlogs.
• Coordinate cross-team planning and communities of practice.
