Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced Agile Coach to drive agile transformation for a large federal agency. You will coach executives, managers, POs, Scrum Masters and teams to embrace agile, product-focused delivery and DevSecOps practices.

The role emphasizes leading SAFe programs, PI planning, and establishing lean portfolio management. You will partner with stakeholders, facilitate cross-team planning, and advance the enterprise-wide Agile journey while

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of practical Agile experience.
• Strong understanding of SAFe including Scrum, Kanban, Product Ownership and Agile scaling.
• Experience as a hands-on organizational change agent across multiple teams.
• Agile coaching experience with the ability to coach executives, managers, POs and Scrum Masters.
• Familiar with DevSecOps tools and techniques and working in government environments.
• Experience launching Agile Release Trains and coordinating PI Planning events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Agile transformation for multiple teams and programs to enable delivery of large initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops to teach Agile/Lean principles, Scrum, Kanban, and roles.
• Lead Agile training for government stakeholders and contractors on processes and tools.
• Coach teams on sprint planning, backlog refinement, and ongoing Agile practices.
• Provide hands-on mentoring to Scrum Masters and Product Owners across teams.
• Evolve the Agile maturity model, assess team performance, and report findings.
• Support cross-team planning, grooming, and communities of practice.
• Ensure Agile metrics are tracked and used to address potential issues.
