Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Lead Engineer, Controls Software to design, develop, and validate gas turbine engine control software and related hardware. You’ll contribute to EEC/FADEC integration, perform model-based analyses, and lead software verification using simulations.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in controls engineering, strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, and experience with real-time embedded systems. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in controls engineering or aerospace propulsion
• Experience developing/validating control software and models
• Knowledge of control systems theory, dynamic modeling, and feedback design
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools
• Experience with embedded software development and real-time control systems
• Ability to analyze test data and diagnose technical issues
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate engine control software and hardware integration
• Develop requirements, models, architectures, and engineering documentation
• Perform control system analysis and software verification using simulations
• Support EEC/FADEC development and engine testing
• Create and integrate HIL/SIL environments and analyze results
• Lead cross-disciplinary engineering collaboration to optimize engine performance
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices
