Job summary

Beehive Industries is hiring a Lead Engineer, Controls Software in Colorado. You will design and validate gas turbine engine control software and hardware, supporting EEC/FADEC systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Minimum 8 years in controls or aerospace, strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, and ability to obtain security clearance. Colorado/Ohio facilities are listed with a path to Centennial, CO site.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in controls engineering or aerospace systems.
• Experience developing or validating control software and models.
• Experience with cross-functional technical activities in complex programs.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate engine control software and hardware for gas turbine applications.
• Develop requirements, models, architectures, and engineering documentation.
• Perform control analysis including dynamic modeling and stability checks.
• Execute software verification and validation using simulations and test data.
• Support EEC/FADEC system development and integration.
• Design and troubleshoot HIL/SIL environments for engine control.
• Analyze test results to drive improvements in performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize overall engine performance.
• Lead test planning, instrumentation, and data analysis during programs.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design reviews.
