Job summary
Beehive Industries is seeking a Lead Engineer, Controls Software to design, integrate, validate, and optimize gas turbine engine control software and hardware for advanced aerospace applications. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust control systems and support engine testing and qualification activities.
The role requires 8+ years in controls engineering, strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
- 8+ years in controls engineering or aerospace software.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
- Understanding of control theory and dynamic modeling.
- Ability to obtain US security clearance.
- US citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Design and validate engine control software and models.
- Develop requirements and documentation.
- Perform control analysis and tuning.
- Verify software with simulations and test data.
- Support EEC/FADEC development.
- Lead engine test planning and data analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers.
