Job summary

Beehive Industries seeks a Lead Engineer, Controls Software to design, develop, validate, and integrate engine control software and hardware for advanced aerospace propulsion. You will collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines to optimize performance and support engine testing and qualification activities.

The role requires strong expertise in control theory, MATLAB/Simulink, and embedded real-time systems, with experience in HIL/SIL environments and a path toward leadership mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controls engineering, embedded software, aerospace systems, propulsion systems, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience developing, testing, or validating control system software and models.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate engine control software, control logic, and simulation models for gas turbine engine applications.
• Develop and maintain software requirements, functional models, control architectures, and configuration-controlled documentation.
• Perform control system analysis, including dynamic modeling, stability analysis, and control law tuning in time and frequency domains.
