Job summary

Beehive Industries in Centennial, CO or Cincinnati, OH seeks a Lead Engineer, Controls Software to design, develop, integrate and validate gas turbine engine control software and hardware for advanced aerospace applications. You will lead technical activities, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across disciplines to optimize propulsion performance.

Requires 8+ years in controls engineering, MATLAB/Simulink expertise, and experience with EEC/FADEC, HIL/SIL, and embedded software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• 8+ years of controls engineering, embedded software, aerospace systems, propulsion systems, or related disciplines.
• Experience developing, testing, or validating control system software and models.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate engine control software, control logic, and simulation models for gas turbine engine applications.
• Develop and maintain software requirements, functional models, control architectures, and documentation.
• Perform control system analysis, including dynamic modeling, stability analysis, and control law tuning.
• Develop and execute software verification and validation using simulations and test data.
• Support development and integration of EEC and FADEC systems.
• Lead HIL/SIL integration and data analysis efforts.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to optimize engine performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
