Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Lead Engineer, Controls Software to design, develop, and validate gas turbine engine control software and related hardware. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to optimize engine performance and support testing and qualification activities.

The role requires 8+ years in controls or aerospace engineering, strong modeling skills, proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, and the ability to obtain US government security clearance; citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required; equivalent education/experience accepted.
• 8+ years of experience in controls engineering, embedded software, aerospace systems, propulsion systems.
• Experience developing, testing, or validating control system software and models.
• Strong understanding of control systems theory and dynamic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate engine control software and hardware interfaces.
• Develop software requirements, models, architectures, and documentation.
• Lead verification and validation activities using simulations and test data.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines.
