Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Director to lead Alternative Delivery in Transportation. You will drive approvals, coordinate with HDR leadership, and manage contracts for major civil infrastructure projects across regions, ensuring adherence to HDR policies and risk controls.

The role requires 15+ years in engineering with project management on large transportation delivery programs and a strong track record in client development and public sector partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Experience leading large civil infrastructure projects within transportation or Design-Build environments.
• Knowledge of HDR’s matrix organization and project delivery approaches.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Delivery Program Director for pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive project approvals in compliance with HDR policies and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with HDR leadership and other directors on policy, resources, and contract terms.
• Negotiate terms with legal teams and manage relationships with clients and contractors.
• Lead discussions with clients on upcoming projects and foster HDR visibility in the AD market.
