Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Director in the Transportation Business Group to lead major public infrastructure programs across HDR's matrix.

You will drive design-build and P3 delivery, coordinating with clients, staff resources and HDR leadership to win and execute complex projects. Ideal candidates have 15+ years in civil engineering, a PE license, and a track record delivering transportation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Professional engineering registration (PE/engineering license).
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience on large civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading pursuit and execution of major transportation design and delivery projects.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of time.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Delivery Program Director for pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policies and risk controls.
• Coordinate with HDR Business Group Directors on contracts and terms.
• Negotiate teaming agreements and subcontracts with engineering/construction entities.
• Engage with state/national organizations to elevate HDR visibility.
• Provide strategic guidance on commercial/technical trends in AD.
