Job summary

U.S. Xpress in Henderson, NC is seeking a Supervisor II Account to oversee drivers for assigned accounts and drive continuous improvement in service and safety.

The role focuses on supervising drivers, resolving customer issues, and ensuring on-time shipments in a dynamic logistics environment. You will coach drivers, monitor performance using KPIs, coordinate with safety and operations, and work across departments to maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent years of experience defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop drivers for assigned accounts; address customer service issues and shipments to meet customer needs.
• Provide proactive coaching and guidance to drivers to improve performance and safety.
• Plan driver loads and optimize equipment utilization to meet service commitments.
• Coordinate with drivers on physicals, random drug screens, and CDL renewal deadlines with Safety tracking.
