Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Senior Account Manager to own an established book of recurring clients. This remote role focuses on retention, renewals, and strategic upsells. You will work with the sales team to win new clients and with strategists and delivery teams to ensure a single, clear voice for the client.

Responsibilities include maintaining relationships, growing accounts, and meeting a seven-figure annual quota, while collaborating across teams to deliver seamless service.

Qualifications

• Experience in agency account management (marketing, digital, creative or advertising).
• Track record of retaining clients and selling more work with measurable results.
• Comfort carrying a sales quota and reporting on progress.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency running paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Senior Account Manager you own an established book of recurring agency clients. Our sales team wins new clients; you keep them and grow them.

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
