Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Senior Account Manager to own a book of recurring agency clients. This fully remote role serves marketing-led brands across the US and Canada, with the sales team bringing in new clients while you maintain and grow existing relationships.

You will drive retention, pursue upsells, and meet a seven-figure annual quota, working closely with strategists and delivery teams to present one clear voice to clients. Base plus commission, split 50/50.

Qualifications

• Must have agency account management experience with marketing/digital/advertising.
• Proven track record of retaining clients and expanding work with measurable numbers.
• Comfort with carrying a sales quota and negotiating expansions.

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
