Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency focusing on paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Senior Account Manager you own an established book of recurring agency clients, while our sales team wins new clients; you keep them and grow them.

You will retain, renew, and upsell, carrying a seven-figure annual quota across retention and expansion. Work with strategists and delivery teams to ensure clients hear one clear voice and receive excellent service.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience in marketing, digital, creative, or advertising.
• Proven ability to keep clients and grow revenue.
• Comfort with carrying a quota.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders.

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
