Job summary

Republic Services in Charleston, SC, seeks an Account Executive to identify leads and proactively prospect and sell a full suite of waste and recycling services to commercial clients. You will deliver presentations, follow up with decision makers, and use Salesforce to manage activities, while building relationships and meeting revenue targets.

Experience in waste or service industries preferred; at least 2 years in direct sales, valid driver's license required. EEO employer.

• Must have minimum 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
• Proven ability to identify and address customer needs.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify viable leads and acquire new profitable commercial and Industrial business.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients and close deals.
• Schedule phone blocks and cold calls to set initial appointments with decision-makers.
• Maintain knowledge of services, pricing, and market trends to grow revenue.
• Document activities in Salesforce and build robust customer profiles.
• Attend events and represent the company to increase visibility and opportunities.
