Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Senior Account Executive in the United States to generate new business and grow existing accounts across service and installation solutions. You will build and manage relationships within defined geographies, leveraging Convergint’s strengths to drive market share and sales opportunities.

In this role, you’ll lead cross-functional collaboration, translate client needs into detailed proposals, and coordinate with project teams to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum Experience: 5+ years account development, sales, or related experience.
• 3+ years of experience in 1 of the following: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.
• Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Industry-specific certifications and/or licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell core business integrated solutions for service and installation projects.
• Develop and implement sales marketing strategies across multiple vertical markets.
• Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project plans.
• Proactively communicates project requirements to project team and wider organization.
• Identify project risks and minimize impact on costs and deadlines.
• Communicate project schedules and changes with customers to improve satisfaction.
• Manage scope of work, terms, and conditions in contracts including cost control and delivery.
• Coach and mentor developing colleagues.
• Perform other duties as required.
