Job summary

Canon USA is launching a bold new managed IT and security services business. The Sr. Account Executive will drive revenue remotely across major US regions, engaging with C-level clients, tailoring IT service solutions, and collaborating with engineers to craft proposals.

Travel to customer sites is required. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and at least five years in IT sales or consulting, with strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• 3+ years in IT sales or consulting.
• Regular travel to customer sites with valid driver's license.
• Attend industry events and networking to generate prospects.
• Broad IT knowledge (servers, storage, cloud, networking, security).

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new customers for managed IT services to drive growth.
• Engage with prospective clients at C-level to understand IT needs and opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales team to maximize outreach and leverage client relationships.
• Work with Solutions Architects to tailor technical responses for proposals.
• Deliver presentations and proposals to showcase capabilities and advantages.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and reports.
• Foster relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
