Job summary

Canon USA is seeking a sales-focused professional to drive new business and deepen existing relationships. You will translate product features into customer value and lead end-to-end sales cycles with demonstrations, proposals and strategic planning.

The role expects a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience, with travel across the assigned territory and a hybrid work schedule in our Beaverton, OR area. Canon offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience.
• Proven success identifying target markets and potential customers.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospects and cold calls in new markets to attract new business while expanding services to existing clients.
• Translates feature functionality of hardware and software into customer value-added benefits.
• Meets required sales activities including demonstrations and proposals.
• Manages complex sales cycles using a consultative solution selling approach.
• Develops proposals outlining unique customer business applications, pricing and implementation plans.
• Utilizes internal resources to present Canon USA's solutions to customers.
• Updates and maintains customer and prospect database using internal software.
• Builds upon customer satisfaction and retention.
