Job summary

Canon USA is seeking a field sales professional to sell Canon's hardware and software solutions to printers, graphic houses, and fulfillment companies. This role requires you to reside within commuting distance of the assigned location and may involve local travel, including overnights.

Your impact includes penetrating accounts with key decision makers, reporting on customer activity, and building long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in office technology, business to business, outside sales experience.
• Strong communication skills including the desire to build solid working relationships.
• An interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry.
• The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
• Some travel required within local market, may include overnights.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategies to penetrate accounts with key decision makers within an assigned list.
• Reports customer activity to management identifying requirements, competitive trends, and environment changes.
• Develops strategic plans to address customer requirements with short and long-term goals.
• Provides marketing, technical and administrative support to named accounts to ensure excellent customer support.
• Develops plans to introduce Canon technology, service, software, and 3rd party solutions to address customer needs.
• Establishes high-level relationships with the customer base for long-term partnerships.
• Gains market share through strategic prospecting and efficient use of resources.
