Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to deliver administrative and client service support to the account team, under supervision of an Account Manager, AE, or Producer, ensuring quality and accuracy while managing small accounts.

Responsibilities include renewals, endorsements, submissions, policy issuance, contract review, AR, and data integrity across systems, with a focus on service excellence and timely communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of support teams.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are timely.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, and billing tasks.
• Support new and renewal business with underwriting info and proposals.
• Review contracts for proper coverages.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier platforms.
• Communicate workload status and key issues with the team.
• Deliver proactive service and uphold IOA values.
