Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, producers, and clients. You will handle policy renewals, endorsements, invoicing, and documentation while maintaining accuracy and timely communication with clients.

In this role you will supervise day-to-day tasks, assist in contract reviews, monitor delinquent accounts, and keep agency systems up to date.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Direct day‑to‑day activities and workflow of the team.
• Policy Management: Track policy expirations and renewals.
• Task Processing: Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, invoices, and certificates.
• New and Renewal Business Support: Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and bind coverage.
• Contract Review: Review contracts for proper coverages.
• Accounts Receivable: Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• System Maintenance: Keep agency management systems up to date.
• Activity Monitoring: Ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Communication: Maintain transparent status updates with the account team.
