Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under the supervision of an Account Manager or Producer. This role will help manage renewals, endorsements, and client communications with a focus on accuracy and timely service.

The position supports both remote work and on-site collaboration within the Eastern and Central Time Zones, handling inquiries, proposals, and policy issuance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, and invoices.
• Support new and renewal business including proposals and policy issuance.
• Review contracts for proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist AR.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status to the account team.
• Strive for service excellence and continuous improvement.
