Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2 to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to varying jobsites required.

Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process. As a senior Testing Technician, you will lead site testing, supervise staff, ensure safety, and document reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Travel 75% of the time and ability to troubleshoot network/telemetry issues.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70e, STS certifications or equivalents.
• Ability to pass exams on electrical schematics, troubleshooting and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
• Knowledge of NETA Acceptance and Maintenance Testing Specifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting as directed.
• Perform energized electrical work adhering to safety standards.
• Prepare timely documentation and required reports.
• Lead and train Testing Technician Level I employees.
• Review and write test reports and SOPs; operate testing applications.
