Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2 for a remote role with heavy travel to substations and PV facilities across the United States. You will manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires leading Testing Technician I staff, coordinating with clients and vendors, and producing accurate test reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Progress toward a C-10 license or Certified Electrical Worker Card.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification required.
• STS certification required.
• Ability to pass exams on electrical schematics, troubleshooting, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority and all employees must follow safety practices.
• Direct and supervise testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Perform site testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and energized work in line with safety standards.
• Prepare complete test reports and required documentation.
• Lead training and certify Testing Technician Level I staff.
• Coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure smooth on-site operations.
