Job summary

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide. The Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, will manage testing, maintenance and troubleshooting in substations and PV facilities.

This remote role requires travel to multiple job sites and adherence to rigorous safety and NETA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Work toward a C-10 contractor’s license or a Certified Electrical Worker Card.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• OSHA 30 certification and NFPA 70e safety training.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Perform testing and energized electrical work following company and industry safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Lead and train Testing Technician Level I employees and trainees.
• Ensure safe work environments and communicate safety procedures to team.
