Job summary

SOLV Energy, a national provider of solar, storage and substation services, seeks an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2. You will manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair in substations and PV facilities, working remotely with extensive travel to varied sites.

The role emphasizes safety, supervision of Testing Technician I staff, and rigorous documentation. A strong electrical testing background, NFPA 70e/ OSHA 30, and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; related electrical experience preferred.
• 3–5 years as electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Travel up to 75% of time; valid driver's license required.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70e, and STS certifications preferred.
• Ability to pass exams on electrical schematics, troubleshooting, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting as directed.
• Perform energized electrical work following safety standards.
• Prepare and review complete test reports with technicians and trainees.
• Ensure safe working environment and enforce safety procedures.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and teammates; document accordingly.
