Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2. This remote role requires extensive travel to substations and PV facilities.

You will manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities, supervise Level I technicians, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required with technical certifications preferred.
• 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time and pass exams on electrical schematics and troubleshooting.
• Valid OSHA 30, NFPA 70e, STS certifications or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting per management.
• Perform energized electrical work following safety standards and company directives.
• Prepare complete test reports and documentation on schedule.
• Lead trainings and certify Testing Technician Level I personnel.
• Write and review SOPs; liaise with clients and vendors.
