Job summary

Chelsea Search Group in San Jose, CA, seeks an experienced Technical Sales & Business Development Manager for semiconductors to bridge engineering and business growth. This role engages Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical customers, translating complex designs into compelling solutions and helping shape ASIC/FPGA architectures and packaging strategies.

This position requires strong technical sales skills, client presentations, and the ability to develop proposals while coordinating across

Qualifications

BSEE/MSEE or equivalent.
3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees reduce experience.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Mil-Aero and Industrial customers a plus.
Strong technical documentation and ability to translate requirements.

Responsibilities

Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
Contribute to the development of the overall ASIC architecture.
Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
Develop technical and cost proposals.
Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs.
Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
Travel up to 30% is anticipated.
Work collaboratively with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
