Chelsea Search Group seeks a Technical Sales & Business Development Manager – Semiconductor in Minneapolis, MN. You will bridge engineering and business development, supporting customers in Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical markets with FPGA/ASIC design expertise.

Collaboration with engineering and leadership teams is key to translating requirements into compelling technical and business opportunities. The role emphasizes technical presentations, pre-sales education, and driving long-term client

Qualifications

BSEE/MSEE or equivalent required.
3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees may reduce experience.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Mil-Aero or Industrial customers is a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
Contribute to development of overall ASIC architecture.
Develop long-term relationships with clients and interpret requirements.
Develop technical and cost proposals.
Make technical presentations and demonstrate product fit.
Meet regular sales targets and coordinate projects.
Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
Travel up to 30% and work with customers on high level requirements.
Collaborate with sales team and technical experts.
