Job summary
Cedar Rapids, IA area: Chelsea Search Group seeks an experienced Technical Sales & Business Development Manager in the semiconductor field. The role bridges engineering with business development to bring innovative ASIC/FPGA solutions to Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical markets.
You will translate customer needs into technical and business opportunities, collaborating with engineering and leadership to define approaches, estimates, and resource needs while contributing to process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Systems Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
- 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees offset years.
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Mil-Aero or Industrial customers is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Close business by providing technical sales support through the sales cycle.
- Develop long-term client relationships by interpreting requirements.
- Create technical and cost proposals for opportunities.
- Deliver technical presentations showing product meets client needs.
- Meet sales targets and coordinate projects; assist with pre-sales activities.
