Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking an experienced Technical Sales & Business Development Manager – Semiconductor in Austin, TX. This role bridges engineering and business development to bring ASIC/FPGA solutions to market, collaborating with Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical customers.

You will develop technical and cost proposals, present solutions, and manage customer requirements from initial contact to project close. Willingness to travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees considered with fewer years.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
• Contribute to the development of the overall ASIC architecture.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients and interpret their requirements.
• Develop technical and cost proposals and present them to clients.
• Travel up to 30% and coordinate sales projects.
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows and conferences.
• Understand technical requirements and forecast realistic customer needs.
