Job summary

Chelsea Search Group seeks a Technical Sales & Business Development Manager – Semiconductor to bridge engineering and business development, driving growth of custom and standard semiconductor products in the Phoenix area.

You will work with Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical markets, develop technical approaches, and create cost estimates while collaborating with design and product teams. Travel up to 30% is anticipated.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher in electrical engineering or equivalent.
3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC design.
5+ years in the semiconductor industry; advanced degrees considered with fewer years.
Excellent written and spoken English; strong organizational skills.
Experience with Mil-Aero or Industrial customers a plus.

Responsibilities

Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
Contribute to development of the overall ASIC architecture.
Develop long-term relationships with clients and interpret their requirements.
Develop technical and cost proposals.
Make technical presentations showing how products meet client needs.
Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
Travel up to 30% and work with customers on high-level requirements.
