Job summary

Vylor is seeking a Production Technician for Corteva Agriscience, on-site in Michigan, to support seed production operations with a focus on safety, quality, and data-driven improvement. You will operate various process equipment, engage with automated systems, and participate in warehousing and harvest activities as needed.

The role requires a HS diploma, willingness to work rotating shifts, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Prior forklift and computer skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing to obtain GED within one year as a condition of employment.
• Able to work outdoors/indoors in varied conditions and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Licensure to drive a company vehicle where needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment following safety policies.
• Adhere to Quality Plan Work Instructions and requirements.
• Collect and record data for continuous improvement and production records.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Support safety programs and site safety initiatives.
• Assist warehousing tasks including forklift operation.
• Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, tablets, etc.).
• Assist field management activities and coordination with growers/contractors.
• Support harvest-related activities and related processes.
